🚀 Overview

BitMagnet is a powerful self-hosted solution for discovering, indexing, and searching torrents directly from the BitTorrent DHT network, without relying on centralized indexers.

It solves the problem of unstable or disappearing public torrent sites by crawling the decentralized DHT for info hashes, fetching metadata, classifying content (movies, TV, etc.) with attributes like resolution and language using The Movie Database, and providing a fast search engine.

Built for self-hosting enthusiasts, media hoarders, and users of the Servarr stack (Sonarr, Radarr, Prowlarr), it offers seamless integration via Torznab API.

The project was created to enable truly decentralized, private torrent management that's customizable and resilient.
