Qlty is a cloud-based platform that unifies code quality and coverage tools, providing instant feedback on pull requests without requiring CI configuration. It handles linting, formatting, security scanning, duplication detection, complexity measurement, and test coverage across dozens of languages and tools.
This project solves reviewer fatigue from nitpick reviews, inconsistent linting results, slow feedback loops, and challenges in multi-language monorepos by automating routine checks and offering AI-generated fixes for ~90% of issues. It allows teams to enforce standards consistently while focusing human effort on architecture and logic.
Built originally by Code Climate (spun out to Qlty Software in Nov 2024), it's for development teams, indie makers, and organizations adopting AI code generation who need fast, reliable quality gates. We built it to make high-quality code the default, accelerating delivery without sacrificing standards.
