Part-DB provides a centralized, browser-accessible database to manage electronic parts inventories, solving the chaos of scattered spreadsheets, lost datasheets, and untracked stock levels.

It is built for individual electronics enthusiasts organizing personal collections, makerspaces requiring multi-user access with permissions, small businesses handling BOMs, and universities managing lab supplies.

This project is a complete modern rewrite of the legacy Part-DB (pre-1.0), built to leverage contemporary web technologies like Symfony 6 for better performance, security, and features such as KiCad integration and distributor APIs.
