It uses simple, human-readable policies to enforce least-privilege access, eliminating the complexity of traditional VPNs like ACL hell and tedious configurations.

Firezone was created to make zero-trust security fast, transparent, and accessible—leveraging WireGuard's speed (3-4x faster than OpenVPN) and open-source code for trust and customization, while offering a managed cloud service for production use.
