Radio Broadcast & Automation Platform
Categories:
LibreTime is a free, open-source radio broadcast and automation platform that makes it easy to run your own online or terrestrial radio station.
LibreTime is a community-driven fork of the Airtime project, offering a complete web-based solution for managing and automating radio broadcasts. It handles everything from media library organization to scheduling and live playout, supporting both traditional FM/AM broadcasting and internet streaming.
This project solves the problem of expensive, proprietary radio automation software by providing a flexible, self-hostable alternative that's easy to install via Docker. It's built for community radio stations, independent broadcasters, podcasters, and hobbyists who want full control over their airwaves without vendor lock-in.
LibreTime was created to revive and modernize Airtime after its original developers ceased maintenance, ensuring ongoing open-source development for the radio community.
