Getting your apps ready...
Manage all of your medical records in one place. Mere is a personal health record that syncs your records across hospital systems for you. Open-source, self-hostable, and offline-first
Categories:
Mere Medical is an open-source, offline-first personal health record web app that aggregates medical records from patient portals across hospitals and doctors into a unified, privacy-focused timeline.
Mere Medical empowers patients by centralizing scattered medical records from various providers into one secure, accessible place on their own device or self-hosted server. It eliminates the hassle of logging into multiple patient portals, downloading PDFs, or dealing with incompatible formats, providing a chronological timeline view of health history.
The project solves the fragmentation of healthcare data, where records are siloed across Epic, Cerner, and other EMR systems. It's built for patients seeking control over their data without compromising privacyβno accounts, no cloud storage by default, and zero-knowledge encryption.
Created by Chris Fu, a medical resident and software engineer, to promote data sovereignty using open FHIR standards. He built it to address real-world challenges in tracking personal and family medical histories, as shared in early Hacker News discussions.
