Recipya is a web application that makes it easy to manage family recipes by importing from the web, digitizing paper recipes, adding manually, organizing into cookbooks, converting measurements, and calculating nutrition facts. It supports printing, device wakelock for hands-free viewing, and customizable themes.
This project solves the problem of disorganized recipes scattered across websites, paper notes, and other incompatible apps like Mealie or Tandoor. It provides a unified, simple platform with automatic features like unit conversion (imperial/metric) and nutrition calculation, making it accessible on any device.
It's built for families—everyone from kids to grandparents can use it without complexity. The creator built it to empower curating unforgettable family recipes in a powerful yet straightforward way.
