By default, it offers end-to-end encryption, Tor support, and compliance with international standards like ISO 37002, EU Directive 2019/1937, and GDPR.

It was created by the Hermes Center for Transparency and the GlobaLeaks community to democratize secure whistleblowing, empowering local initiatives to report corruption, abuses, and wrongdoing confidently without relying on proprietary or insecure tools.
